Accepting or Rejecting a Quote

What happens when you accept or reject a WinFactor quote

Accepting or Rejecting a Quote

WinFactor lets you respond to a quote directly from the secure quote page.

Accepting a quote

When you accept a quote, you will usually:

  1. open the quote link
  2. review the pricing and terms
  3. optionally enter your name
  4. confirm the acceptance checkbox
  5. submit the acceptance

After that, the quote status changes to accepted.

Rejecting a quote

When you reject a quote, you can usually:

  • reject it directly
  • add an optional reason

That reason can help the supplier understand whether the issue was price, timing, scope, or product fit.

Important limitation: actions are final

Acceptance and rejection should be treated as final actions inside the quote page.

If you are unsure:

  • contact the supplier first
  • ask for a revised quote
  • do not accept a quote just to keep the conversation moving

Expired quotes

If the quote validity date has passed, the quote can remain visible but cannot be accepted.

At that point, contact the supplier and ask whether they can reissue or update it.

What happens next

The next steps after acceptance or rejection depend on the supplier's own process. WinFactor records the result, but delivery, scheduling, payment, and production follow-up are handled by the supplier.
